About
We started with the people other providers couldn't support.
Nima Care is an NDIS support coordination and support work provider in Melbourne, working across Victoria with adults with psychosocial disability, acquired brain injury, intellectual disability and autism.
Our story
Where we started
Nima Care began in 2021 with adults with a disability who were in and out of hospital, about to lose a home, or dealing with the courts, and whose previous providers couldn't support them.
We learned that the hard part was rarely the person. It was the gaps between services: a discharge with no one waiting, a release date with no plan, a carer who'd been holding everything for a decade and finally couldn't.
So that's what we built around: staying with people through the transitions, and making the systems talk to each other so the person doesn't have to.

What we believe
Day to day
How we work
One team
Support coordination and support work share one phone number and one file. Nothing gets lost in a handover.
Matched workers
Language, culture, age, interests, gender. Our team speaks Somali, Arabic, Italian and more, and we ask before we roster.
A reply within 24 hours
From a named person, not a shared inbox.
Registered and audited
Independent audits against the NDIS Practice Standards, worker screening for everyone, and a complaints process that works. Here's how to use it.
Across Victoria
From the CBD to Geelong to Clyde North, and further when someone needs us.
Who we work with
Adults with psychosocial disability, acquired brain injury, intellectual disability and autism. The people who support them, and the coordinators, planners, hospitals, housing and legal services who refer them to us.
Join the team
We hire people who turn up, who listen, and who don't flinch at a hard week. If that's you, we'd like to hear from you.
