How we approach it

Housing takes time, so the earlier we start the better. We help you secure a place through our network of private housing partners, and we support you to keep it.

Questions

Things people ask us

Do you own houses?

No, and we don't pay anyone's rent. What we do is help you secure a place through our network of private housing partners, who work with us to provide affordable housing for people at risk of homelessness or with high support needs. You hold the lease, you pay the rent, and we support you to keep it.

I'm in hospital and have nowhere to go on discharge. Can you help?

Call us today, or ask the social worker to. Housing takes time, so the earlier we start the better.

What if I'm behind on rent?

Call us as early as you can. We help with arrears, complaints and repairs, and with talking to the landlord or housing worker.

Do I need an NDIS plan?

To start funded supports, yes, or to be eligible for one. We'll talk you through what the NDIS looks for, and tell you if a Local Area Coordinator is the better first call.
